What is Shitbirds?
Shitbirds is an accountability website. We are not a breaking news page, and we are not journalists. We are historians with a penchant for uncovering the egregious decisions and corruption that plague this nation's past and present. Our main focus is policy from the highest office in the country, but we keep an eye on the rest of the government wherever it touches the mission. Shitbirds is a non-partisan magnifying glass. The color of the tie you wear in DC matters exactly zero here. The only thing that matters is what humanity looked like after you touched it. And we don't care if you didn't start the war, build the lie, or sweep the truth under the rug — you watched, you stayed quiet, and inaction is complicity.
Goblin
Goblin enlisted in the US Army at 18 as a combat medic during the Global War on Terror. After his service, he worked as a civilian paramedic, then as an organ donation coordinator for a non-profit at a local hospital. In his mid-thirties he was diagnosed with lymphoma connected to his time in the Army and spent two years fighting cancer. In remission, he turned to understanding himself and his nation — and somewhere in that excavation decided the things he was finding needed to be public. He's still digging.
Retarded Actual
Retarded Actual commissioned as an officer in the United States Air Force after college during the early years of the Global War On Terror, serving overseas and stateside in the intelligence community. After leaving the USAF he finished law school, where he found his passion for the American legal system — and for what happens when the people running it stop answering to it. He now spends his time exposing corruption at every level of government, working toward a better world for his family, his nation, and the rest of humanity.
